Born into a musical family, Elizabeth’s parents instilled a love for music at a very young age. She began playing the piano at five, learning classical music. Her parents homeschooled her and her siblings for the majority of their growing up years. After getting her high school diploma from the Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Association she worked with Youth With A Mission, traveling and learning for 7 years. During that time she also worked for multiple churches on their worship teams, both as a teammate and a leader. Married in 2008, she and her husband started their family right away. They worked as missionaries in Alaska focusing on local church work from 2008 to 2013. To supplement their missionary sponsorship, Elizabeth began giving piano lessons in 2010 and has kept a steady stream of students, despite moving to Pennsylvania in 2013. Currently her husband Omar works as an electrician. Elizabeth has been homeschooling their four children since 2015. She also juggles a collection of side gigs, including piano teaching, piano tuning, children’s book distributer, and podcasting.
